Overview of Wire Drawing Die Materials
Common wire drawing die materials include:
- Natural Diamond: Highest hardness, but scarce resources and high cost.
- PCD polycrystalline diamond: Cost-effective and widely applicable
- CVD Diamond: Highest purity, superior performance
- Cemented Carbide: Low cost, suitable for rough pulling

3. Production Batch
- Mass production: CVD diamond, longest service life
- Mass Production: PCD diamond, best value for money
- Small Batch / Prototype: Tungsten carbide, lowest cost
